As we travel along through the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona, Spring begins to unfold. The first few pictures are of The Cactus Forest, followed by some random shots of the various wildflowers we are beginning to see.  Were the best of friends... It's a darn good thing we are! Yes, folks the Merliers are heading out once again to a new adventure. We are planning to explore and camp in our nation's great southwest! The caverns, the canyons, the beautiful nature paths, waterfalls, mountains - all of it! Yipee! That's the travelling part. The best friends part comes in, because we are going to do all this with our Chevy Silverado 3500 pick-up truck, "Arnie." We fixed up the truck bed with cozy sleeping accommodations and have enough room left over for a cooler, several supply boxes, campfire chairs, a small table, campstove, tools, solar shower with enclosure, and a pottie! This will be our home for the next couple of months, while we cruise around and enjoy some of the best that mother nature has to offer! Stay tuned for more coming soon...  Always remember that what appears as complacency might be veiled frustration, feeling 'stuck', or may be confused with great patience. It is always wise to investigate appearances before assuming the worst in people. Check it Out!
